WELCOME TO MANUEL ANTONIO, COSTA RICA

Quepos is a little port town at the mouth of the Boca Vieja Estuary.  After crossing the bridge into town, take the lower road (on the left of the high road).  Past 4 blocks, turn left, and you will be on the road to Manuel Antonio.

This road winds through town a bit before starting over the hill to all the hotels and the National Park.  ACADEMIA DE ESPAÑOL D'AMORE is located in kilometer 3rd on the road down to the Manuel Antonio National Park, next to Bungalows Tulermar.  Coming from Quepos you will see on your right hand side a big blue sign with our name on it.  Right there, that's where we are!

If you decide to take a taxi or bus from Quepos to ACADEMIA D'AMORE, you should ask the driver to drop you of at ACADEMIA D'AMORE NEXT TO BUNGALOWS TULEMAR, that way, he will drop you off at the right place. 

A taxi will cost around $5 for private service.  The return trip  from the ACADEMIA D'AMORE to Quepos should cost only 500 colones per person, and it is collective service.  We know this system does not make much sense, but this is a fixed price, so watch out for drivers who try to charge you more.

The bus ride takes 15 minutes each way, and runs roughly every half hour from 6am to 7pm daily, with one late bus leaving Quepos at 9:30pm and returning from Manuel Antonio  at 10:00pm.  The buses, which leave from the main bus terminal in Quepos, near the market, go all the way to the National Park entrance before returning at the very end roundabout.  You can flag down these buses from certain points on the side of the road.  The fare is  200 colones (20 cents).
