University Credits Information

ACADEMIA DE ESPAÑOL D’AMORE also gives its students the possibility to obtain academic credits from the universities they attend through their corresponding Language Study Abroad programs.

A wide variety of North American and European universities and colleges will grant semester credits if you attend our program.  If you are interested in receiving credits instead of attending regular language classes in your university, consider attending one of our programs in which you can live with a Costa Rican family and attend classes for a shorter period of time but with stronger cultural and linguistic results.

Just let us know which university you go to, and we will be happy to help you by sending any kind of information you require for this matter.  A description of methodology and curricula will be sent to you and/or your Course Transcript Evaluator for prior approval of the program. At the end of your time in our ACADEMIA, we will provide a detailed transcript of your work and achievements so you can present it to your Language Department Transcript representative.

It is important for you to keep in mind that the procedures for approving credits vary among different universities.  That is why we recommend that you get in contact with the person in charge with enough time in advance so you do not experience any inconvenience upon presenting our documentation.  Do not expect to receive credits from your university if our program has not been approved prior to your coming to Costa Rica .

It is home to over 100 species of mammals and 184 species of exotic birds. Marine life is abundant in the park and the 12 surrounding islands. Howler monkeys cry mournfully as bathers relax in the shade of the almond and coconut palms. [ Read More ].
