D'Amore
This is an incredible school. The creditentials
of the teachers and adminstrators are the tops. The great
courses at the school combined with the homestay program
(where you'll encounter the amazing hospitality of the Costa
Rican people) makes for an incredible educational experience.
I have loved my experience at the Academia de Español D'Amore
so much that after my first visit with my brother I came back
for a second time. I would highly recommend this school to

I really enjoyed my time at Academia
D'Amore, and I felt I learned a lot every class. I highly
recommend the school as well as Quepos/Manuel Antonio in
general.
My teacher planned classes specifically for me.
The grammar we covered addressed my specific weaknesses, and
we covered vocabulary related to my career (IT). I already
spoke a fair amount of Spanish prior to my trip, so a lot of
the class was directed conversation aimed at increasing my
comfort level with spoken Spanish. After a couple days, I
really had a lot more confidence discussing the day's news,
politics, etc.
My teacher was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable,
patient, and insightful. The rest of the staff was also
wonderful, and reserved tours for me for after class. My host
mother was very kind and a fantastic cook. The facility has a
fantastic view of the ocean. Manuel Antonio is a
beautiful place.

Academia
de Español D’Amore was one of the best experiences of my life,
and definitely the best experience I have had to learn
Spanish. I learned more at that school in five weeks than I
learned with five years of Spanish classes in high school. All
of the teachers at the school are top-notch. They all care
about teaching, and you can tell that each lesson is taking
seriously. They really want you to learn Spanish, and are
willing to do whatever it takes to help you learn. All of them
are top-notch, of course, because the director of the school
is an amazing, motivated teacher himself, and he ensures all
of his staff is the same way. I couldn't recommend a better
place to learn Spanish if you have the time or the
money.

Having
traveled extensively through Central America and attending
various language schools, I stumbled across Academia de
Español D'Amore. What stood out the most for me, besides
being in one of the most gorgeous beach towns, was how
accommodating the professors were. They easily assessed
the difficulties that I had in Spanish and personalized my
lessons accordingly. Through this personalized
attention, I experienced a transformation in my Spanish that
no other school had provided. I can truly call all the
professors at Academia de Español D'Amore a part of my family
and plan on returning to Manuel Antonio not only to brush up
my Spanish, but to enjoy all the beach/jungle activities with

After studying at Academia D’Amore, I would with
out a doubt say it was a life changing experience! I not only
improved my Spanish skills greatly, I met and spend quality
time with all the people working at the school that
contributed to my unforgettable experience!
The school which is in the middle of the rain
forest and has that soothing ocean breeze makes the setting
ideal for learning. I guarantee this school will present a
learning environment that is like no other learning
experience!
I loved my experience and my time with my "Costa
Rica Mother" that Academia de Español D’Amore set me up with,
it not only improved my Spanish, I was able to meet many
locals from living with a Costa Rican family and I still keep
in touch with my friends that I met through this experience.
I was so impressed with my experience that I
decided to move back to Costa Rica and have not moved back to
Orange County, California in almost 4 years! It's so difficult
to explain the positive vibe and the effect this school had on
me and I know it will be a rewarding experience in every
aspect of the learning process and more!
I would strongly recommend this school to anyone
wanting to learn Spanish in one of the most beautiful
locations in the world. I loved it and will remember my
experience here FOREVER!!!
